Code of Trust
Logline
When a brilliant but isolated teenage coder falls under the influence of a charismatic classmate who seems to understand her better than anyone else, she must decide whether to keep chasing belonging at any cost or rebuild the trust of the friends and family she pushed away.
Synopsis
Code of Trust follows Aaliyah, a gifted 16-year-old programmer whose obsession with coding has left her disconnected from the people who care about her most. At home, her mother worries she’s losing herself in screens and ambition; at school, her loyal friends watch helplessly as Aaliyah drifts further away. Desperate to feel seen and valued, she is drawn to Stephon, a magnetic student whose attention offers her the validation and excitement she’s been missing. What begins as a thrilling new connection slowly pulls Aaliyah into dangerous territory, forcing her to confront the difference between being understood and being used. As the consequences of her choices close in, she must reckon with her isolation, the people she shut out, and whether trust—once broken—can be rebuilt. Blending coming-of-age drama with emotional suspense, the story explores loneliness, manipulation, and the high cost of finding your place in the wrong crowd.
